Everyone is different and a memorial should reflect the person or people it commemorates. S Critchley & Son are specialists in taking your ideas and customising a memorial to suit.
We have a large range of designs you can personalise the memorial with. These can be subtlety highlighted so that they don't disappear when it rains or fully painted for maximum effect. It's also possible to tweak our designs to better reflect your loved ones, a particular favourite was adding a Lancaster bomber onto our Lake District scene to reflect time served in the war.
Families often customise memorials by adding ceramic photographs but it's surprising how often these photos have other people in the background, are blurred or miss the top of the head etc. Our skilled team can repair images and use industry leading technology to sharpen and recover lost information on the image.
Fresh flowers are lovely and very personal but not everyone is able to visit family graves on a regular basis. We have a range of flower containers that allow you to fit fresh flowers but also can be closed to keep an elegant appearance when no flowers are present. Alternatively we have a large range of beautiful ceramic flowers that remain bright and colourful all year round.
Bronze and marble statues are a classic way of personlising the gravestone. Some of these are free standing, others are fixed to the face of the headstone.
